FERMI makes dimmable, artist-designed lamps — sculptural objects that look like they belong on a plinth but are happiest on your nightstand. Each one is designed by Brooklyn-based artist Jeremy Olson, 3D-printed from plant-based bioplastic, and hand-assembled in small batches. A carefully chosen dimmer dial, a cloth-covered cord, a warm bulb included. Three companions so far: Visitor, Nessi, and Nimbus, for the bedside, the desk, or wherever the overhead light feels too harsh.
