unique artist-designed lamps

Each FERMI lamp has been thoughtfully designed by Brooklyn-based artist Jeremy Olson. The lamp bodies and shades are 3D-printed and hand assembled in his studio. Quantities are limited.

playful by design

Inspired by mid-century modernism and the curves of anthropomorphic sculpture, FERMI lamps combine high design with approachable character. Eero Saarinen meets Noguchi over a rotary telephone, with just a touch of Kawaii.

made-to-order in Brooklyn

Lamps are printed with eco-friendly materials on demand. This process minimizes waste and keeps the studio nimble. The current lead time is 2 to 4 weeks.

dial in the light

All FERMI lamps are fully dimmable,
so you can set the mood just right.

While a carefully chosen bulb is included,
FERMI lamps will work with any standard e26 LED bulb.

beauty in the details

All FERMI lamps have felt glides on their bases to prevent scratching surfaces, as well as brass cord inlets and dials sourced from guitars and pedals. Cloth-covered cords add a touch of elegance and durability

considered materials

All FERMI lamps use trailing-edge dimmers, which are designed to work efficiently with modern LED bulbs.

The lamp bodies (and most shades*) are 3D-printed from PLA (polylactic-acid) filament, a more sustainable bio-plastic made from corn.

*Blackout shades are printed in PETG, the same material water bottles are made from.
